As often as it appears I’m prancing around in open green spaces (see last post for reference), dressed as an overgrown bridesmaid or flower girl- these truly are rarities in my day to day schedule (if only working from home looked this whimsical), especially as now that, if I were to even dream of wearing something like this- 90 deniers, a scarf-cum-blanket and boyfriend jacket would be entirely appropriate.
Additionally, I’ve never really delved into the whimsy floral crown trend (”What? You’re a blogger and have never worn a floral crown out?”). I often think they’re a little much for day wear (unless they’re the super cute teeny ones), and bar Reading and Glastonbury (the times where my hair is in desperate need of a cover up) have always rather opted for a hat, or something a little more understated/bloke like. However, after receiving this little number from cult crowners Rock ‘n Rose– have realised, I’m probably a little mistaken. Paired with my go-to ‘Little House on the Prairie’ white dress, and understated accessories and make up- it seems a bit of floral head wear can be wearable, and with soft pinky tones paired with more Autumnal shades, don’t even have to just be limited to Summer wear either. Late to the party? I think so.
