The keys to the city are in the sun that pins the branches to the sky

With the sun being back on the UK weather scene (hashtag!) my shorts inevitably made a reappearance, after giving my new favourite jeans a seriously wearing this past week. Having stored them in my cupboard for pretty much the majority of the summer, it was nice to be able to flash the ‘ol legs- even if they are shockingly pale! I teamed them with my cheeky ASOS blouse (which would have been rude to wear without lipstick) and Victoria plimsolls- which believe it or not, smell of strawberries. Anyway! How has everyone been this week? I’ve had a pretty busy one, with work, gigs, sports, chats and burgers a plenty! I headed to Hyde Park this week to catch some of the Olympic coverage on the big screen, and saw one of my fave newbie bands- Spector, who as always were amazing. On the same day I was lucky enough to catch a free Slow Club gig at Hackney House, which was great- and a really cool venue! This was after of course, a burger at Bukowski’s on Shoreditch Box park, which is a serious competitor for my beloved Byron, but not just yet…

Additionally, you may have spotted on Twitter and Instagram that I had a pretty darn exciting interview with a certain lovely lady- who, although will keep a secret for now, should be published on here tomorrow, so I can’t wait for you to all see that- tres exciting! Stay tuned…
