A couple of weeks ago Joe and I ventured to Leeds, for a whistle-stop visit to his sisters and a cheeky evening out to catch James Blake- not bad for a Wednesday evening post Bake Off, am I right? After missing a train (and subsequently killing a few hours in London by hopping in and out of donut shops and running errands)- we were Leeds bound and armed with plenty of layers, a Pret pot of tomato soup and a to-do list to tackle for the journey.
Seeing as we were warned it would definitely be chillier than the Big Smoke- I was well prepared with what will now be known as my IKEA-monkey jacket. A new purchase from ASOS (which has already seen it’s fair amount of wear- IT HAS A HOOD PEOPLE) and undeniably looks a fair bit similar to this little guys too. Paired with my new frames from Bailey Nelson (if anyone can make you feel better about having less than perfect vision, it’s them) and a few of my Autumnal wardrobe staples (black jeans, boots and a fun-old knit)- we were prepared for our flying visit (and already marking out our next too)…
P.S Spot the tree! Too soon?
