From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

Keeping Cosy

(Jumper: C/O hush, Belt: Madewell, Jeans: GAP, Shoes: C/O hush, Bag: Mansur Gavriel)

Now I’m back on U.K soil, I think it’s full acceptable to change topics back to talk of the weather and how, ‘it’s definitely gotten quite chilly!’ I often talk about how when it comes to any month past September, I’m all knits and denim. It’s my favourite timeless pairing for something completely effortless, warm and totally fail safe. But, I’ll be honest- sometimes I find it hard to make cosy knits and denim look particularly put together or stylish. I can be a little bit of a lazy dresser when things get colder- but care of online haven and one true love of mine, hush– I think I’ve found a bit of a solution with their latest seasonal offering…

With a collection ranging from simple staples to timeless pieces that’ll see you through season after season (and age less than Ant & Dec)- hush have become my one-stop shop for wardrobe capsule pieces with subtle nods to seasonal ~trend~ offerings. Whether that’s a parka with a fabulously fluffy coloured hood, a pleated skirt in this seasons richest hue- or even snuggly non-itchy knits in the prettiest pastels (which, let me tell you I know a thing or two about)- it’s safe to say there’s nothing boring about being cosy this season. Plus, paired with some go-to boyfriend jeans and trainers- it looks more off duty than off-to-the-sofa (although let’s face it, I’m a snuggly pair of joggers away from feeling ready for that too)…

Post in collaboration with hush, but love of cooler months (just), warm knits and beautiful cosy clothes all my own
