Bedside Beauty

Before I catch the Z’s…

One of my favourite things to do before bed is have a good old sit-down post-bath pamper. When my make up is off, my face is cleansed- I can snuggle into my PJs and get down to some real TLC business. I tend to have a little stash of favourites next to my bed that I turn to again and again for those tiny ‘treat moments’, so I thought I’d share some of those with you (judging by size, I’m sure you can understand some have to sleep in my bathroom cabinet)- but you get the jist either way. Now sit back, relax, and let’s unwind!

Firstly, let’s talk balms! The one that I use for pretty much everything (be it cracked skin to dry lips) is this , which sees me through near enough everything. Paired with this lotion (which is absolutely dreamy and lives in my handbag too), I can ensure that I am baby-soft before bed. Controversially, I also love painting my nails in bed (I know this runs the risk of duvet prints on them, but, FYI, this gal is a maverick). My current favourite painting partnership is the and the incredible (which help minimise any duvet damage too)! I also want to introduce you to . I’m not one to wear perfume to bed- but because of it’s name (and the fact it’s one of my total favourites)- I had to include it. Named ‘Lazy Sunday Morning’ and smelling of ‘soft skin and bed linen’- this is my ultimate ‘do I have to get up?’ Fragrance, and smells as good as the feeling of a freshly made bed.

Next- masks and lotions! When I get the time I love a good mask and body treat before bed- and the number one post-bath contender definitely comes in the shape of this which is pretty much heaven in a little black pot. It’s indulgent and every time my mum steals some I pretty much bellow ‘WHAT IS THAT AMAZING SMELL?!’ My night time go-to come rain or shine is the (super quick to absorb); and if I’m feeling super indulgent I love this because nothing says treat like a face covered in honey, right? (and it’s super moisturising too. Ahem).
