The Season Of Giving

I’ll admit, living in such a bustling city, it’s not hard to get incredibly excited about Christmas and all of the sparkles, gifts, music, pretty dresses and parties that accompany it without much thought. As I write this, with Smooth Christmas blasting- I’m already counting down until the big day (but without wishing away the build up and advent countdown, of course). But saying that, this year I feel like I’m definitely counting my lucky stars that I’ll be in a warm home, with food on the table, music filling my ears and surrounded by the people I love and care about the most. After some of the completely devastating, tragic and heartbreaking events that have occurred this year, I feel it’s important to factor in the people who aren’t able to celebrate, be that by altering our spending a little (or spreading it into different areas), taking time to visit those who need a little more care, and sparing thought for the rest of the world…

Now, I wanted to talk to you about a little something Trollbeads are doing to help over the festive period (and not just in the fact the item makes a wonderful gift, either). This year, the brand have partnered with global charity, Red Cross, in order to raise funds to support the incredible, and hugely important work around the world with their ‘With Love’ bracelet- with 100% of profits going directly to the Red Cross’s crucial work. Each year, the charity provides disaster relief for over 85 million people in need (which is an incredible figure) and with sales of this small bracelet, each sale can help to make a huge difference, be it a gift to yourself, or a loved one. A little gift with a big impact, if you like…

Post in collaboration with Trollbeads, but love of Chrismas, accessorising and charity all my own- nope, not a Miss World speech
