It’s only recently, now the weather has dipped a couple of degrees cooler (#laterssummer #doesthismeanautumn) that I’ve actually started thinking about my ‘chilly weather wardrobe’- formally known as Autumn/Winter clothes. Seeing as my wardrobe has solely been short shorts, flouncy peasant blouses and smock dresses in an array of summery prints (read: ice lollies and daisies)- I’ve started to realise I’m actually in need of something for cooler evenings and those rainy days that have started making an appearance again (yup, for a moment I did forget I lived in the UK). So- when Warehouse invited my pal Kristabel and I for a trying-on session in their new Oxford Circus flagship store, in aid of their #Warehouse264VIP, I did a little happy dance a gladly accepted.
With playsuits, prints and pleather a plenty (and the alliteration-user of the year award goes to…) we picked out some seasonal inspired pieces, with Kbel opting for a sassy co-ord and me going for a Birkin inspired (my favourite term, appaz) pleather pinafore dress! Now, a girlie evening out wouldn’t be complete without a slap-up meal (or, ahem, curry)- so we hopped, skipped and jumped over to Dishoom (which I’ll be writing about on here soon- mega YUM) and ended the evening with a sing-a-long at the West End seeing Thriller- not blooming bad at all!
