On a grey Autumnal (coming on Wintry) afternoon, it’s easy to choose to stay cooped up indoors, soup in tow (something I’ve become incredibly guilty of) and switch off to the miserable rainy outside world. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the time this is my routine of choice, and plonking the heating up, keeping tartan fleecies on (wearing as I type this…) and filling the kettle up is all too easy. But, saying that sometimes wrapping up a little (when this was taken, I promise no tights were a viable leg option) and heading out with a camera is one of lifes little pleasures, especially when you don’t know how the images will turn out.
Additionally, when your colour pallet of choice reigns from burgundy and earthy grey hues and the Free People dress you’re wearing is somewhat reminiscent of a woodland faerie, it’s hard to not get caught up in the moment a little, and simply enjoy the great outdoors.
