To be completely honest with you, I rarely go into Tk Maxx. I often read about other amazing cut-price designer pieces other bloggers have seen of picked up in there (yes, Jen, I’m looking at you) and have admired lustfully (and with envy) at people’s tales of discovering Luella, Chloe and Miu Miu hidden amongst brown puffer jackets and past-it corduroy slacks.
However, when it comes to my turn- I probably have the patience of a pensioner in a post office- I just can’t cut it/be bothered. Much like vintage shopping, I become hugely frustrated at my lack of luck finding amazing pieces and often revert to other high-street heroes. However, when TK Maxx got in touch regarding their website, and their range of coats and boots I was keen to have a little look and face my fear of rummaging (if you’ve read the caption underneath the picture you’ll know where this is heading…) I managed to pick out this gorgeous sixties esque Pepe Jeans coat (which has an amazing removable collar- oh technology!) which I can’t wait to snuggle up in in the winter. I teamed it with some velvet Chelsea boots and bought back the beehivve for good measure- perfect!
