From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

Realisation Par

(Sunglasses: Celine, Blouse: Realisation Par, Jeans: ASOS, Bag: Michael Kors, Shoes: Zara (old but similar here))

When it comes to clothes and music, the two are pretty much in line with one another for me. For example, if I like a song (currently on repeat is solely Christine and The Queens) I’ll play it until I know the lyrics, dance moves and singers D.O.B and birth place. Much like when I feel great in an outfit, I’ll wear it until the cost-per-wear is less than a bus ride and roughly half of my Facebook friends list have potentially seen me in it (not quite accurate, but you catch my drift)- but y’know, when you have a good thing going and all that, right?

Well, let me introduce you to that current get up. Despite having bumped into the same people, and been to everything from meeting catch-ups, dressy dinners and a new city exploration (Brum, I’m looking at you)- this Realisation Par blouse paired with Farleigh high-wasited jeans of dreams didn’t get much of a break last week. Maybe it’s the timeless look of navy and denim (paired with a wicker Birkin-inspired bag) that had me feeling all ‘je ne sais quoi’ or the fact that I was in fact wearing something that revealed a little more ‘décolletage’ than my standard roll-neck- but I think it’s love; now to brave dry cleaning…
