Okay so I’m a day early- but better I get prepared (and let those of you who perhaps weren’t aware know about it too), and start getting festive- right? Either way- tomorrow is officially ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ (yup, it’s as good as it sounds), and basically means if you wear a festive knit to work (or school, or whatever you’re doing really) it’s suggested you donate a couple of pounds to Save the Children (an amazing charity), and the government will match every pound you donate- which is pretty special indeed. ‘Tis the season for goodwill after all…
So, when Beyond Retro offered me the chance to pick from one of their hundreds of Christmas knits (everything from Granny-cool, Scandi-ski and even 3d light up numbers)- I was spoilt for choice. Opting for a classic ’80s tinsel embroidered number, I paired it with matching bold accessories, and my cheesiest grin- it is nearly Christmas after all! On top of that, Beyond Retro are also donating a pound every time they sell one, and have a Christmas Jumper pop up at Old Street station in the run up to Christmas, in case you fancy getting knitty on the commute home- pretty amazing, huh? Happy Christmas Jumper Day Eve!
Nope this post is not sponsored, I just like me some good causes, good will and bloody good knitwear. Thank you and goodnight.
