New Season, and New Routines

I feel like before I went away I put an awful lot of pressure on myself to have seasonal content lined up to keep things ticking over when I was away. I mean, of course I would! It’s my job! Planning three weeks in advance though- when you’re faced with everything from inches of snow, flu and goodness knows what else can inevitably make that a little tricky- so firstly, a huge thank you for bearing with me over these last few weeks- I hope things have been okay with you too? Things will be back up to normal schedule very soon (with lots of travel posts a comin’ too)- so I promise a slower service will have been worth it!

This outfit was shot a couple of weeks ago in the gorgeous Artist Residence (which I know has had a lot of airtime over here recently, but I promise it’s completely just) and was take in our beautiful room, The Grand Suite- which I couldn’t quite believe either. Having such a beautiful open plan bedroom, bathroom and views of the beautiful houses of Pimlico felt like the dreamiest way to wake up on a Monday- and even on a slightly overcast morning, still got the most beautiful light filtering in through the curtains- so much so that we decided to snap a few photos (because it would have been rude not to, right)?

With one thing on my spring wish list being a silk midi skirt– this mint Topshop number, dotted and printed with floral, seemed to fit the bill perfectly- and I love the fluidity of it’s shape and how it really adds a gorgeous silhouette to a simple t shirt and trainers look. On top of that, I’ve seen a lot of serious babes sporting the ‘chunky knit and delicate skirt’ look- so this is my tribute (cough, attempt) at that- and something I’m sure I’ll be carrying through to spring when it’s not quite warm enough for a tee- but perfect for a little leg bearing. English weather eat ya heart out.
