Early last week, after scouring the forecast, gathering a handful of recommendations that covered an undying necessity to satisfy even the sweetest of teeth and a healthy appetite for brunch, Joe and I headed down to the beautiful East Sussex town of Rye for the day. Having briefly visited last summer with friends it was wonderful to head back. Being not totally ready to say goodbye to four days of birthday celebrations- I can assure you that a visit to the coast (even if you can’t paddle in the sea) is the perfect medicine for any post birthday blues- and you can bet there’s a big old guide coming up soon…
But the dress! Let’s talk clothes. This dress was a wonderful birthday gift from mama and papa P last week and another total gem from high-street honey Mango. After seeing my pal Charlotte with it on Insta Stories (at least I’m sure that’s where I first saw it), I’ve already worn it a handful of times and it truly makes for the perfect all rounder midi (black, printed, stars, flowers, low neck- YOU GOT IT)- and let’s be honest, we’re all going weak for a good midi at the moment. Dream dress a go go!
