The Bloggers Market #4: Pastel Paradise

Can you believe we’ve just held our fourth ever Bloggers Market? Nope me neither! I remember when the debut Facebook event was just a twinkle in our eye, and here we are two years on hosting workshops, in our biggest space yet- meeting even more amazing ladies (and gents)- not bad huh?

Not bad at all! Earlier in April, Lucy, Carrie, Kristabel and I held yet another amazing (if I can say that myself) market at the vibrant Camden Collective– a co-working space a stone’s throw away from Euston, which boasted the perfect community feel, space and setting for our next event. With it’s sugary sweet toned decor (yup, the tables and chairs were perfectly pastel) we were able to customise the space with the help of Pixers, flowers from Bloom and Wild and Carrie’s skills- adding colour splatted vinyl’s and decals to the walls to match, which truly made the space come to life (and I’ve since been fawning over their other amazing designs too)!

On top of that, this year we wanted to make things a little bit more special. It’s never totally just been about us selling our wardrobes- and this year felt particularly inspiring with the addition of workshops as well as gorgeous beauty treatments care of Boudoir Beauty Parlour. With the day including Ghenet hosting an amazing bullet journaling workshop with Ohh Deer, a marbling workshop from Pup Tart and Teri from The Lovely Drawer offering free custom brush lettered prints- it felt just as much a creative hub as a clothes sale- and having so many creative women sharing their skills was completely amazing.

And that’s not all! With our tweet to eat station suitably full, we were also lucky enough to have Nix & Kix and Pack’d for smoothie and soft drink fixes, SugarSin with a whole selection of gourmet sweeties and Honeywell Bakes with (nearly) too good to eat biscuits. Not bad fuel for shopping, amirite?

If that wasn’t enough, we also had out wonderful special guests on side (that’s Kim, Zoe and Reem FYI)- as well as the hands of Natasha, Hamida, Megan, Elizabeth, Love, Camille and Eve- who all did the best job of keeping everything in ship shape. We got some good gals- and here’s to the next!
