From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

Being essentially a one woman band when it comes to working in December means one thing: finding ways of incorporating the things I’d probably wear to a Christmas work shindig into my day to day wardrobe. So what if it means strange looks on the train, or looking like a walking talking Quality Street (or cracker) during the first week of the month? If it means I’m feeling more festive (and trust me there’s an instant correlation between wearing metallics and a better mood) then I’m all for it (and this year I am all about the sparkles).

Fortunately for me, the high street seems to have totally coordinated itself with my total love of all things Saturday-night-fever, ABBA inspired, shiny and slightly ostentatious this Christmas- and I couldn’t be happier for it. So- on a chilly December afternoon (not before a big ol’ Christmas lunch may I add)- I donned my finest emerald tree tribute for the first of many one-woman party looks (but hey, who cares about ridin’ solo when you got sparkle like this)?
