From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

London Loves #8: Dirty Bones

I wouldn’t be the first person to consider hot-dogs as a brunch option, but with Dirty Bones’ weekend menu in full swing across their three branches- it’s way more than just buns and sausage that this place excels in…

I’ll be honest- I’m not one to veer away from a traditional brunch. I’m very much a granola, pancakes or eggs and bacon type lady- and anything that throws some new flavours into the mix has the ability to have my menu-indecision a go go. So, when Joe and I went to visit Dirty Bones in Kingly Court recently- I knew that things would be a little bit more exciting than normal. Known for their exceptional hot dogs- I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when it came to their other offerings, especially on a Saturday morning before the first coffee.

But I needn’t have worried- although their comfort classics still shine bright on their brunch menu (there’s plenty of ‘dogs, chicken ‘n’ waffles and cheesy mac to please everyone)- it was their brunch exclusives that really excited me. With banana Toblerone-Tella waffles, savoury baked skillet and my absolute favourite of avocado, eggs and crumpets (with a umami butter which was out of this world)- it was a total treat (and if I’m I’m being totally honest- it’s probably become a little boring how much I’ve gone on about this place since we came). It’s that dreamy. So if you’re after something different for breakfast, or lunch (or even dinner for that matter)- make sure to put Dirty Bones on your list.
