I’ll be honest with you- I’m not great at dressing for holidays. Having mainly opted for city breaks over the last couple of years- I’ve become more accustomed to dressing for sweaty subways than sandy shores- with flowing midi dresses coming first before any short-shorts on my packing list (call it a case of pasty pins, if you must)! Anyway- when it came to packing for our trip to Portugal at the end of May- I can safely say I was a bit of a novice. With late night bikini buying ensuing (not that I ended up wearing any…) and digging out unworn flip flops being my new favourite activity- I think I nearly found my groove again- until checking BBC weather and realising my UK wardrobe would have been totally A-ok- ain’t that always the way?
Packing issues aside- arriving in Setubal one sunny evening, I was thrilled to be greeted with some of my best friends, tiles to envy any Pinterest board and walls boasting hues that would even have Wes Anderson at hello. So, naturally before dinner- Joe and I scooted off for some quick snaps in a new favourite shirt (which would be perfect with short shorts, FYI) and sliders for a perfect holibob day-to-evening look.
