From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

Petit Bateau

(Jacket: Topshop, Top: C/O Petit Bateau, Jeans: ASOS, Shoes: Zara (similar here), Bag: Kate Spade)

I don’t think it’s hugely necessary that I do a whole blog post dedicated to dreamy basics. I’ve made my love of black jeans, trench coats, the humble baguette (which, yes, is a total necessity in every girls life) and ballet flats very clear over the years, but one brand who pop up again and again in my wardrobe (and in my catalogue of must-have essentials), are Petit Bateau. Striped t-shirt aficionado’s and the absolute bees knees of good, wearable jersey pieces.

So, let me talk to you about what makes this little number special. I’m no DIY queen (cutting pom poms was never my forte), but this little striped number comes paired with 3 limited edition nautical badges, designed by the hugely creative Marie Macon and Anne Laure Lesquoy, that you can iron on in seconds- cute, huh? Paired with my favourite girlfriend jeans, Frenchie inspired trench and an appetite for a lunch-time baguette, I was feeling pretty Birkin in this get-up. Now where to dine al fresco?

Post in collaboration with Petit Bateau, but love of stripes, French bread and this bloomin’ brand, all my own

Free pack of 3 limited edition Macon & Lesquoy badges when you buy any women’s T-Shirt 27 April – 10 May, valid in UK stores and online at petit-bateau.co.uk with code BADGES- go go go!
