From The Archive: 2016

The year of travel- from Aus to Africa- as well as some of my favourite ever photos, I hope 2016 brings a small dose of wanderlust (and fashion inspiration if not)!

A Handful Of Current Loves

Although I’ve been pretty good at keeping up with this YouTube malarky (and posting out monthly favourites videos whilst I’m at it), I thought I’d check in over here with some current favourite loves, as I do appreciate not everyone here wants to see this gal waffle on for 15 minutes first thing on a Sunday morning. Understandable really! Anyway, I thought I’d show off a small selection of some of my favourite things, be it stationary, beauty or anything in between- bon appetit!

Putting pen to paper:

There’s been a lot of love for the big ‘S’ (that’s stationary) in the last month after working on a ridiculously fun project with Kikki.K, my collection is now at an all time large (not that I’m complaining, of course). So, on top of that- I’ve also continued to grow my ridiculous (and wholly unnecessary) card collection (because you never know when you may need an emergency birthday card)- and this selection from Ohh Deer had me doing little belly laughs which gets a big thumbs up from moi.

A couple of beauty loves:

Although I have plenty more beauty posts lined up going into far more detail about the real depths of my current collection, I couldn’t let these two go a miss from a little loves post. I definitely don’t need to go into detail about why, or how much I love this Diptyque candle (three words: Olympia Le Tan), but this primer and lipstick 2-in-1 from Clinique has been a more recent love, and with it’s muted bubblegum pink tone makes for the perfect brightening go-to.

The finishing touches:

I’m not one for huge amounts of accessorising normally (I’m very much a delicate pieces kinda girl)- but these earrings from Toolally (which have been featured in Vogue, may I add) are the perfect modern take on a retro design, and I’ve been loving them with more subtle looks, to really give life to simple pieces. On top of that, this phone case from Yeah Bunny is pretty much the best thing ever- so let’s add that in too.
