There’s something about being on holiday that makes getting dressed up in the evening that little bit more exciting. Lose your inhibitions! Be a bit brave! These people don’t know you’re not a sartorial maverick on your home shores! So, naturally, on one of the warmest evenings of our mini break, I took out the skirt for a spin, and although I was certainly not lacking in the heat department (and hey, this gal could always do with a little extra height), was pretty bloody happy with the outcome- holiday dressing kudos, wardrobe!
So, let’s talk about the skirt. THE SKIRT. The skirt that sent Marks and Sparks into a Chung-related link clicking frenzy (come on, if Alexa wore it you know it’s a good ‘un) as well the day their chocolate shortbread and Percy Pigs weren’t top of my M&S shopping list. But can you blame me? It’s certainly a statement piece, but I’m sure with a black polo, crisp white shirt or oversized knit in winter it’ll be just as wearable come the chillier months. There’s a reason it was a sell out after all, right?
