Beauty Loves: July 2015

Getting my bronze on…

I literally think this year has been the first year of my life, let alone month, that I have ever used a bronzer. After coming back from my two-day Ibiza break (and thinking I had far more of a tan to maintain than I actually did)- I took to my make up bag, and began reinventing my daily make up routine (if, only, slightly). As well as the beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow, I have fast become obsessed with Tom Ford’s Bronzing Powder in ‘Terra’– which I’ve been using every day since. Instead of my daily foundation, I’ve also been using Liz Earle’s Skin Tint, which feels like a super pigmented tinted moisturiser, which as well as giving great coverage, sinks perfectly into the skin and isn’t at all drying- which I love. For concealing, once again I’ve loved Benefit’s Bo-ing (especially for travelling) and have been blotting in concealer with Rodial’s Highlight Brush (because who really uses brushes for their correct purpose?!) For eyes I’ve been loving playing around with Ciate’s Longwear Foil Finish Eyeshadow in Lincoln Road for the most pigmented bronzed eye look, along with Charlotte Tilbury’s brown kohl liner (slightly softer than my standard black) too. Finally, for lips I’ve been using Ms. Tilbury’s Lip Magic Balm to moisturise, and then Hoola as a finishing gloss on top.

Bath time bliss…

Now, when it comes to hitting the tub, there’s one thing I’ve loved indulging in- which is Zoe’s gorgeous new Bath Fizzers. Having picked them up during my stay in Cardiff, they made for the perfect bath time hotel treat, and smelt absolutely divine too- good work lady! Post dip, I’ve loved slathering on & Other Stories’ body soufflΓ© in Steel Garden, which smells a little like Parma Violets- mm! Last but not least, I also took this Tom Ford Shimmer Body Oil away with me, and found it perfect for sweeping on smooth legs for a glowing evening look (or if you want to feel super special in your PJs…)!

The new (glittery) launch…

Okay, so I haven’t yet gotten around to trying out all of these products, but how could I not include them in a favourites video when they look so beautiful!? After hearing about Accessorize’s Beauty Launch, I couldn’t wait to receive the collection- and judging on appearances (which ain’t always the good thing to do, kids)- I’m absolutely in love. With everything from primer, cream blush, the most impressive mini eyeshadow pallet, bronzer, lipsticks, lip balms and all the nail colours sorted- it’s a purse friendly, gift-perfect collection that I can’t wait to take for a spin! You can spot the collection in stores, too!

The skinny…

…and finally! The facial favourites. Firstly, the inevitable superstar, that I was, inevitably, late to the party for. Pixi’s Glow Tonic has fast become part of my evening cleanse, and makes a perfect follow up to the Face B4 Face Wash, which I’ve been using if my skin is a little broken out and red (although this ain’t glam, it does do a pretty neat job). On top of that and as well as my trusty 3-step, Clinique’s Charcoal Mask is one of my favourite once-a-week bath time facial treats, and you can seriously feel this mask doing it’s stuff. Finally, this Neal’s Yard Rehydrating Rose Moisturiser (a lovely gift from Joe’s mum), is also pretty lovely, and makes for the perfect light, daytime moisturiser (and smells incredible too)!
