Now, let me tell you- if my hand eye coordination was as good as my colour coordination I’d be the best tennis player in the world. I seem to have a habit of going to town when outfit building- and this burgundy get up was no exception, especially when I discovered an unworn lipstick just waiting to be invited to this maroon party. Taking inspiration from a certain Florence Welch– who, along with Ms Chung has been my ‘Ooh what’s she wearing? LET ME TRY’ icon since her first demo (when a floral grown and black billowing dresses were ‘ma thang’)- the lady is now inspiring me with her seventies-meets-pre-raephalite get ups, and I’m more than happy to start exercising them myself- even if it is slightly nostalgiac of my primary school uniform (head-to-toe burgundy, of course).

Anyway, this little Spring look (which, with scarf out of sight, it was) was something I put together for a little trip to Brighton to see the babe that is Suzie. We spent the day marching around the Lanes (with obligatory Photo Booth stop off’s and cupcakes all included), wrapping up with a cheeky visit to Space NK (let’s just say Ms. October is quite the enable ; ) and an afternoon tea whilst sheltering from the rain and sea breeze!
