A year full time and city guides a-plenty, my first venture into YouTube and a baby puppy addition- 2014 was an exciting one!

I think it’s safe to say that there are definitely two sides to my sartorial sense, or style, if you like. There’s the ‘prim and proper’ Kate Middy-esque side- with princess A-line shapes, school girl collars and sixties girl group minis. But then there’s the other side, a lot more relaxed, ‘off-duty’ (ahem, this one is always a bit off duty), bohemian and very willing to embrace the shapes or the seventies- with big hats, flared bottoms and a peasant blouse all in good measure- which, let’s be honest- is probably why I am so head over heels about Free People. Having recently starting making their mark in the UK, Free People have long been the shop I ‘pop’ in to when I’m across the pond; and their love for the past, Woodstock-inspired pieces and beautiful shapes are the same reason I keep going back (and now ordering online, oops).

This weekend the brand and I will be hosting a little Christmas shopping event in their Selfridges concession from 12-6pm, which as well as being uber festive, will be the perfect chance to get any buys customised in store and their pop up station, as well as a good old chin wag. Plus, having seen the collection in store today- I can promise tree’s some seriously beautiful pieces and lot’s of opportunity for a ‘To me, From me’ Christmas buy. Hopefully I’ll see a few of you there!
