If there’s one thing I can’t say no to, along with pretty much every other girl- it’s a flying visit to Paris, even better when there’s shoes involved, am I right? Before the weather got cold and the leaves turned brown I hopped on an afternoon Eurostar across the Channel to catch a glimpse of the beautiful new own brand shoes coming from Sarenza. For the last three years on my blog I’ve been working pretty closely with Sarenza, featuring shoes from their gorgeous site (which plays home to everyone from Opening Ceremony, New Balance and Shellys) every so often, so you can imagine how exciting it is to see they’ve finally developed their own line of styles, which are pretty exciting indeed. Not only are they all designed in Paris (meaning there’s some serious chic French inspiration), but it’s designed by girls for girls- so there’s absolutely tonnes of styles to choose from- spoilt, me?
Although I was only in Paris for the evening (and usually don’t do very well when it comes to exploring new cities on my own)- I made the most of the morning I had to myself and shut my laptop, put on my most comfortable shoes (which, in this case was a pair of heeled sandals, oops) and drifted off into the Marais, City Mapper in hand- and a small list of places to visit, including the Rose Bakery (which was absolutely packed), A.P.C (even if always for a window shop) and the gorgeous Merci. Before I knew it I was back at St Pancras (box of macarons in tow), and on the Northern Line back to the sticks and reality with some Friday night T.V…
P.S The lovely people at Sarenza are giving one of my lovely readers the chance to win their own pair of Sarenza shoes up to the value of £130 from the new collection- simply comment below with your chosen pair and I shall select a winner at random! Giveaway is open until Wednesday 29th October!
