When posting pictures like these it’s difficult to remember that most of the time I’m actually just in jeans and a jumper (and probably a space-invading hat), either covered in flour and grease from the kitchen, or a bit worn down after endless tube journey’s to and from the city. These, however were taken recently on a cold January morning (just ‘warm’ enough for clear tights- coat out of shot) whilst exploring with the gorgeous Kitty. I sometimes forget that landmarks like the National Gallery (and it’s grand architecture) are pretty much under my nose when I step off of the train at Charing Cross, and it’s nice to properly appreciate them- and be able to capture everything in-between.
This beautiful dress is a handmade number from Plum and Pigeon, and it’s pieces like these that make me so incredibly excited for summer (remember a tight free time, when there wasn’t a risk of your hat getting blown off at every other opportunity?) In fear of sounding like a tweet from ‘Very British Problems’ it’s only until you realise every outfit is layered with wool and covered in additional acrylic, that you realise how special the novelty of single layers are- here’s to an optimistic weathered-April and heatwave summer!
