A year full time and city guides a-plenty, my first venture into YouTube and a baby puppy addition- 2014 was an exciting one!

If you’ve read this little corner of the ‘net for long enough, you’ll remember my little phase with the cossack hat. It’s the 2011 equivalent of todays fedora, and I was rarely seen without it- even making it part of my sixth form outfit (trust me, a suit has never looked so cool- erm, kind of). It almost amazes me that I had the confidence to wear it to school like some kind of modern day Sam Shakusky or wannabe Russian Princess (funnily enough my history A Level topic was Russian History, coincidence? I think not), when styling it with this outfit required a lot of thought, and worrying that it just looked like a wild emo haircut gone wrong.

Ok, perhaps I’m being a little dramatic- but I have to say I think I’ve rediscovered a bit of a staple (until you’ve felt how warm these hats are then you’ve not been cosy) and I am all for a little faux fur headwear- especially when paired with a cute pinafore and roll neck (Ok, I’m starting to sound about 80- but you get the idea)!
