A year full time and city guides a-plenty, my first venture into YouTube and a baby puppy addition- 2014 was an exciting one!

One of the many perks of reading some amazing blogs is getting some seriously amazing style inspiration (I know this is a massive ‘Florals? For Spring? groundbreaking!’ – moments, but hear me out). Of course it’s easy to flick through magazines, scour Pinterest (and subsequently get lost on the site for hours) and google endless images of Françoise Hardy (definitely a favourite past time)- but sometimes the inspiration is sitting under your nose- or in real terms, on your last opened tab.

Now, a few of my very favourite bloggers (such as Carrie, Dunya and Kerry) can seriously rock a pair of white tights- and I mean rock. It may sound silly to some (surely tights are just something you pull on to keep legs cosy in Jan?)- but when it’s on the opposite end of the colour spectrum to black, I’m sure a little bravery and inspo’ is required (especially when one’s dad asks ‘your legs look a little pasty! Oh wait…’) but sometimes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. For example, with this outfit I felt black tights would drown out the dress, so it was time to embrace the pasty pins, and take my inner Twiggy to a whole new level- and you know what? I think I like it. Thanks ladies for encouraging me to try something new in the style stakes, here’s to my next venture of patterned tights a la Kbel!
