From The Archive: 2013

With magazine placements on the side, 2013 was the last year I juggled blogging as a side gig. Things get a bit girlier in the style department too, with a lorra love for the sixties and a 'hive!

And everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon

When I say Truffle Shuffle you say? The Goonies. Of course. Cool band T-Shirts aren’t the first thing that spring to mind- just Chuck doing that dance after shouting ‘COME ON’, and certainly wasn’t the thing he thought of when I told Joe I’d picked something up from there. However, I was pleasantly surprised- stomach shaking aside, that this site has some pretty cool hidden gems.

After a while of deliberating my favourite from Bowie, Dylan to Saved by the Bell I settled on this The Dark Side Of The Moon Pink Floyd top. With the album being one of the first I remember my dad having (and seeing that infamous prism on the family CD collection), plus being arguably some of the coolest artwork since time began- it seemed a pretty safe and ever so slightly sentimental choice. Plus, for a group who wear hats like that and paisley tendencies greater than yours truly- can you blame me for going for a group guys with such perfect style and immaculate talent? I digress.

and here’s what I wore…
