During the whirlwind that is London fashion week, this was one of the outfits I sported during my two days nestled in the city and amongst the cobbles. According to what I’ve heard (or maybe just the way I view fashion) all of the big wigs or editors are usually caught in black and white- so I suppose this was my unintentional plea at trying to be a little more demure or French- whichever you’d prefer. Of course, I didn’t quite succeed and added a messy beehive and a fashionably red and runny nose to go with my lippy (I know, so chic)- but hey, it was cold.
Additionally, I took my beautiful new Dahlia blouse for a spin (because I don’t have a Cadillac and this is probably one of the next best things). It’s the perfect twist on a classic sheer blouse, but with an intricate cut out lace collar which makes it about ten times more pretty. Tucked in to my favourite black playsuit, a far too-thin-for-the-weather jacket (trust me, scarves and thermals are still necessary) and kitty flats- it made for the perfect sixties inspired monochrome outfit, with a little Liv twist on the ‘important person’ look.
