(Jumper: COS, Skirt: J.W Anderson for Topshop, Necklace: C/O Zara Taylor, Loafers: Russell & Bromley)
As Autumn slowly draws to a close (yes, really- I can’t quite believe it either) and I can finally stroll across a pavement without the fear of slipping on soggy leaves and can now watch X Factor assured I will see the Coca Cola advert; it feels only obligatory to make the most of the final beautiful shades of red and yellow sprinkled across next to every outdoor surface- and to be honest; I’ve had a pretty huge amount of fun coordinating my autumn wardrobe to the landscapes- sad huh?
Anyway, I’ve been meaning to photograph this skirt since I bought it as I have certainly surprised myself by the amount of wear I have already had out of it. After treating myself to it with a 20% student discount (naughty naughty) and as a treat for my Cosmo Blog Award success (nope, still can’t believe it) I was determined to make it worth every penny. Although initially a little scared as to what to team it with; I’ve found the less I think about it, the more it goes with- be it basic jumpers and tees, band tops, stripes, bodies- the list goes on (also look to Kristabel ad Elisabeth for J Dubs inspiration) plus, due to it being quilted and pencilled (?) it makes for some seriously warm winter wear- pow!
