From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

And I will love to see that day, that day is mine

Hello! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a week! A whole week! I had just managed to get into a routine, but with a hugely busy week- including 12 hour days of work and commuting, filming and Field Day I just simply couldn’t fit in any posting- especially nothing half-hearted. Anyway! With lots of content behind me now, and a couple of days to schedule like a crazy thing, I’m hoping this week will be a little more blog friendly!

Anyway! I cheated a little, as this is something I wore last week, during our brief spell of amazing summery sun! I went full force with pastels, and what with it being the Jubilee weekend figured this would make for the perfect Queen style inspired post- with tomorrow being another day of ladylike sorbet shades. I wore this awesome pearl embellished Virgos Lounge blouse with some pretty lace tailored Dorothy Perkins trousers (not my usual print, but not far off!) I also wore my new favourite peep toe shoes- probably the embodiment of girliness, combining pink suede, a mid heel and glitter- mmmm with a delicate bangle from Ever Ours (do check them out, amazing stuff!)

Also, I have a little secret to tell! You may have seen on Twitter, or even Instagram, that one of the reasons I couldn’t post last week was due to the fact I was busy filming the new Dahlia Summer film- which was super exciting! We managed to catch the last full day or beautiful sun, and with a plethora of stunning props; ranging from fresh cakes, pink bicycles, handmade tee pees, a collection of stunning Dahlia dresses and some fantastic company (including Megan, whose blog is beautiful) it turned out to be a truly lovely day- and I cannot wait to see the finished product! I’ll keep you updated (providing my acting début isn’t too silly…;)

I hope you’re all having a fantastic Jubilee weekend! Have any of you been watching the flotilla on the BBC? Or did you see it live? I loved it!
