From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

Cause when you’re running by yourself, it’s hard to find someone to hold your hand

As I mentioned in my last post, yesterday I spent the day taking my lovely friend Gemma out for a slightly belated afternoon tea- something I’m becoming all too familiar with (and that is certainly not me complaining). We decided on visiting Cafe Liberty, which was really lovely, and a little more reasonable than some of the other cafes and restaurants in London. The tea consisted of mini scones, an array of tarts and some teeny tiny sandwiches, one of which was on chocolate bread- most interesting!

Anyway, my outfit isn’t anything overly exciting (printed trousers anyone?) but hey, it’s what I wore, which is the aim of this all right? I teamed my swan trousers with my daisy shoes and my biker jacket and a beehive, which, looking back at these photos sadly resembles that of a baker’s hat- very chic (I knew there was a reason I never go out with one!)

Finally, I’m also launching a mini give away ahead of the amazing Nelly launch party next Wednesday, at the incredible Aqua in London! The prizes are 4 tickets (two sets of two) to the launch party, which I can promise will have many fantastic things in store for you! To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment with your email address, and be able to get to London on Wednesday 9th May! Please note; entrants must be 18 years and over (sorry!) and I will pick and announce the winners on Monday 7th! Good luck!
