From The Archive: 2012

A year of fewer questionable outfit choices, I finally found my blogging groove in 2012, and here you can find some favourite pieces, band interviews as they first appeared and a lot of hats too...

Hello! Remember me? I must say, I’ve been hugely disorganised and worked out these past few days, so my posting has gone a little du-woop (is that even a saying? nope? ok). After a manic week of working 5 days (and a day sick) I’ve literally had such little time for outfits, which I’m so bummed about as I have the most hideous back-catalogue of things to post, gah! I have managed to do lovely things though which I’m hugely fortunate for, including the amazing Motel Rocks event (which meant meeting and seeing some of my favourite bloggers/clothes), the Whistles press day (swoon) and the new Miss Selfridge store launch on Oxford Circus- which is ‘amazeballs’ AND I also began interning at Look magazine today! It was very last minute, but I am so very excited to be there- my dream job. However, this will not hinder my posting, what with Springtime now upon us it looks like after-work photos are actually possible, hooray!

Anyway, for this outfit I tried to go for something a little out of my comfort zone, and arguably a weird mash up of rockabilly meets Breakfast at Tiffany’s- something I’m actually pretty happy with! Usually I’m not one to opt for anything too ‘bodycon’, but with the Liv-like lipstick print I fell a little bit in love. I also teamed it with my new favourite shoes, a pair I was thrilled to receive and even more thrilled to put on and parade around like a human flower pot- I am still wowed by how comfortable they are. I’m so excited to try them with girlie dresses, shaggy old band t shirts and my go-to biker jacket- I shall keep you posted!
