From The Archive: 2011

From starting university, to making the decision to leave (and winning my first blog award) - the year of 2011 was a big one for me- and I finally moved back to London to intern and dedicate a little more time to the blog...

Hello! I hope you’ve all been having a lovely week. I’ve been pretty busy, so sorry for the tiny delay in posting! Yesterday my main gal pal Gemma came up to visit for her 6-day Liverpool mini break, and we spent the evening uber-fan girling over Arctic Monkeys at the Echo Arena- who were a-mazing as per, definitely my fave band ever ever, Alex Turner is simply incredible.
Anyway, before I go off in a wave of crazy Alex Turner related nonsense, can you believe how Autumnal it’s suddenly become? There’s been a real bite in the air, and as you can see from above the leaves made a welcome backdrop for some pretty festive snaps! My outfit was pretty plain and simple, but perfect for the mid-season weather and I can guarantee you’ll be seeing plenty more of this scarf, it’s all I seem to wear with EVERYTHING from October-March, so I’ll make a concise effort to spice it up a bit with other neck accessories.

I spent this afternoon in a gorgeous cafe/deli in Liverpool called The Quarter. From the looks of the menu it does the most lovely sounding Italian food (I’ve heard good things!) but could only manage a pot of tea and two (!) of their amazing warm raisin scones with cream and jam- perfect! It’s fair to say I left feeling very satisfied! What have you all been up to this week?
