I never really do update posts, but seeing as I haven’t posted for about a week, I feel a little-catch up is needed! I have many a post lined up in the next week, and am hopefully going to catch up with everything!
Anyway, if you follow me on Twitter you’ll know a little more as to my blogging absence in the last week, and that I’m actually back in London. I’d be pondering my interest in my university course for a while, and after several weeks deliberation realised it really wasn’t for me, and that I’d much rather reapply next year doing something I’m completely passionate about, than suck it up and waste 3 years. I’ve been pretty disappointed by the amount of people who seem to ‘look down’ on the fact you’ve ‘dropped out’, when really, in my opinion, it’s a pretty brave decision. However, I was absolutely astonished by the response on Twitter, and the amount of people that have made similar decisions, which was hugely reassuring, and hoped that by posting about this (although I do try to keep some things personal) it could help someone else in a similar position. I honestly have no regrets, and hope that by following something I really am driven by (even if the course is less academic) I can really flourish in something I love (cheesy, but true). I’m going to miss my flatmates, the people on my course, the amazing city and the girls at work (big shout out to Sian ;D) but I’m hoping it will all be worth it!
Anyway- enough of grown up chat! I’ve had a really busy last week, which has also held me back on the blogging front! This included meeting up with the gorgeous Rebecca for tea and cake and talking about our mutual love for Alex Turner, trains, making the perfect cup of tea and of course a little blogging! She is such a lovely girl with an amazing blog, so I do suggest you pay a cheeky visit! Additionally, the amount of cakes I’ve indulged in recently has inspired me to get back in the kitchen- so look out for some recipes in the next few days, I’m desperate to try making scones!
Last but not least, I was recently Street Style Spotting for Company Magazine in Liverpool- after taking over Alexandra. Anyway, the final gallery is now live and I would REALLY appreciate it if you could all vote for my street style spots HERE if you could- it literally takes a second (they’re the pictures with my name). Thank you so much! I hope you all had a lovely and stress free week!
