From The Archive: 2011

From starting university, to making the decision to leave (and winning my first blog award) - the year of 2011 was a big one for me- and I finally moved back to London to intern and dedicate a little more time to the blog...

If I was young, I’d flee this town I’d bury my dreams underground

*Now, if all goes according to plan, and my inner techno wizard shines through, this scheduled post will publish when I am on the train to Liverpool about to move in- so it’s probably best this is scheduled, I’m probably a nervous wreck at present!*
Anyway, I bought these jeans on Thursday whilst hitting Covent Garden with the very stylish Nanny P, and to be perfectly fair I couldn’t quite believe I’d finally found a pair that fitted! After buying Pippa jeans from Topshop several years ago, and them fortunately seeing me through til now, they’d been my favourite pair. However, Topshop had to go and discontinue them, making softer ‘Jamie’ jeans instead- a jean that, put it this way, makes my legs resemble that of a rugby player in tight jeans, not the look I’m after on this occasion! After venturing into Whistles to admire the beautifully cut blouses and sharp suits I noticed a table of jeans, and by chance picked up this gorgeous berry pair to try on, and well- the rest is history! They’re not too tight, and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of them in the coming months!
Have you bought any winter staples lately? Found any amazing jeans?
